Delete your Mindora data

Mindora — AI Journal & Mood · Last updated: August 27, 2026

This page explains how to delete your Mindora account, or just parts of your data, and exactly what is removed when you do. You can do all of it yourself from inside the app or from the website — no request form, no waiting on a reply from us.

In short. Deleting your account removes your sign-in, your journal entries, your uploaded files and your profile. It is immediate and irreversible. You can also delete individual journal entries or your profile picture at any time without touching your account.

1. Delete your entire account

From the website

  1. Go to mindorajournal.com and sign in.
  2. Open Settings from the profile menu.
  3. Select the Security & Sessions tab.
  4. Scroll to Delete account at the bottom.
  5. Click Delete my account, type DELETE to confirm, then click Permanently delete.

From the Android app

  1. Open Mindora and sign in.
  2. Tap Settings in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Select the Security tab.
  4. Scroll to Delete account.
  5. Tap Delete my account, type DELETE to confirm, then tap Permanently delete.

You are signed out immediately afterwards, and the account can no longer be used to sign in.

2. Delete only some of your data

You do not have to delete your account to remove specific things:

3. What is deleted, and what is kept

DataWhen you delete your account
Sign-in credentials (username, email, password)Deleted. This happens first — if it fails, nothing else is deleted, so you can never be left able to sign in with your data already gone.
Two-factor authentication secret and recovery codesDeleted
Active sessions and sign-in tokensDeleted (revoked immediately)
Journal entries, moods and tagsDeleted, including from the search index
Uploaded files (profile picture)Deleted
Profile details (bio, phone, city, country)Deleted
Preferences (theme, notification settings)Deleted
Sign-in history (IP address, device, timestamps)Deleted with the account
Push notification tokenDeleted; the device stops receiving reminders

Retention

Deletion takes effect immediately — there is no grace period during which you can recover a deleted account, and we cannot restore one for you. Routine encrypted backups and server logs may still contain incidental records for a short period before they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation; these are not accessible from the app and are not used for any purpose.

4. If you cannot access your account

If you have lost your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen to regain access, then follow the steps above. If you still cannot sign in and want your data deleted, email us at aqvionlabs@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will remove it for you.
